Effect of epinephrine on inositol trisphosphate (IP3) generation in Hepa cells transfected with the wild-type and Ala ¹⁸⁶ -Ser ¹⁸⁷ mutant H2-histamine receptor

Epinephrine at a maximal concentration of 10⁻⁵ M induced a time-dependent increase in IP3 generation in Hepa cells expressing the mutant Ala¹⁸⁶-Ser¹⁸⁷ H2-histamine receptor but had no such effect on nontransfected Hepa cells. Data are represented as means ± SEM, n = 4.
