From: α-Secretase ADAM10 as Well as αAPPs Is Reduced in Platelets and CSF of Alzheimer Disease Patients
Expression of ADAM10 in human platelets and human cortex. Total RNA was extracted from platelets and human cortex, transcribed into cDNA, and amplified by PCR with ADAM10-specific oligonucleotide primers. Single transcript of the expected size was obtained both in platelets (Plt) and human cortex (hCx). GAPDH expression was estimated as internal control for each sample. Bp markers are reported in the right-most lane.
