WT BALB/c mice were treated with E2, the ERα-specific agonist PPT or vehicle (DMSO) for 3 wks, and splenocytes were analyzed by flow cytometry. E2 and PPT reduced transitional B cells in WT mice compared with vehicle. O.D., optical density. (B) MZ B-cell subsets in E2 and PPT-treated WT mice.
